How to Bet to the
Pick 6....
Basically, if you get
the number of the winning horses in first place position
in six consecutive races, You get the Pick 6 or "Pool"
as we say. This type of bet starts in the second race up
to the seventh race.
The minimum wage
is known as a single bet giving the opportunity to
choose a horse in each race. You may also request an
automatic or manually combined "as you wish" bet
according to the number of horses participating in each
race.
You also have the
option to bet in a "cuadro", which lets you include the
amount of horses as you wish in each race.
To know the cost
of your bet, you multiply the amount of horses selected
in the second race by those selected in the third race.
Such total is multiplied by the amount of selected in
the fourth race and continues such process until
reaching the seventh race. Thereafter, divide the total
amount by four to know the cost of your "pick 6" ( "pool
de seis") bet.
To end your bet,
fill in your betting slip and visit the teller near your
area, either at the race track or at the
Off-track-betting parlor.

How to Bet for
the "Poolpote"....
1. You may begin
betting as low as you wish for a "pick 6"....
2. Select your
favorite six (6) horses between the second (2) and
seventh (7) race.
3. The prize of
this type of bet surpasses millions of dollars!
To be the winner
of Poolpote, you must be the only one to
achieve the winners of the day, from the second to the
seventh race, gathering a "dream-come-true" prize. The
amount of Poolpote grows every racing day, pays
instantly and it is "TAX FREE".

What is Bet to
"Winner" (or First)?
This type of bet
is as simple as selecting the horse which you believe
will win the race. The minimum wage for such bet is two
(2) dollars. You may visit you nearest teller and say :
- "Number two (two is an example, you must say your
favorite number here) to Win..."

What is Bet to
Second (or Place)?
This bet is when
you want to be conservative. Instead of betting a
"winner" position, you are requesting a bet of your
favorite horse winning either a first or second place.
Generally speaking, the prize is less. The minimum
waging is two (2) dollars. You may visit your nearest
teller and say: -"Number four (four is an example, you
must say your favorite number here) to Second (or
Place)".
Approximate
Dividends When Betting
The following
approximate dividends table is a guide on how your
minimum two dollars bet renders. They determine the
public bettors favorites in each race. It will represent
the estimated prize of your bet in First or Second in a
two (2) dollars ticket. As an example, if a selected
horse closes in preference 5x2* and its bet wins, you
will receive an approximate dividend of $7.00 dollars,
consequently your profit will be $5.00 dollars for each
$2.00 dollars bet.
